Celebrating International Women on Twitch!
In honour of International Women’s Day observed on March 8 around the world, Twitch will be celebrating Legendary Women on our service today and all year long, through a variety of initiatives which spotlight the community.
Global Emote
Today, we are launching a new, permanent Twitch global emote designed by artist, Partner and Women’s Guild member /AmiSometimes. This emote celebrates and uplifts the Legendary Women who are making incredible contributions on Twitch every day, so make sure to spam WeDidThat in chat!
Twitch Unity Guilds International Interest
To continue uplifting creators across the globe, we are officially launching interest forms for the Twitch Unity Guilds in additional languages, to support our efforts to expand this program internationally.
Interest forms and membership are now open in the following languages: Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese. Creators can submit their interest in joining a Twitch Unity Guild by applying via the following links. We continue to expand language support, so keep an eye out for future updates!
NOTE: This expression of interest does not guarantee your entry into a Guild(s), but will count as an official application in the event that we are able to invite you to join one or more of the Guilds in future.

Today and all year round, Twitch continues to celebrate Together for Legendary Women by highlighting women on the front page - check out the shelf collection to discover the incredible range of talent. You can also learn more about the incredible creators we’re celebrating on Twitch’s social channels (X, Instagram). Check out our launch film featuring /ijustlovepuzzles, /dippedinpoison, and /LexualPlays, and this highlight from our global Women’s Guild members discussing how important the Women’s Guild is to them. Be sure to look out for more content celebrating these incredible creators throughout 2025.
On March 7 @ 10am PT, join our host with the most /MCroft07 and Legendary guests /AliyaWill, /NyyBeats, and /35p_Ramen as they take to the stage on /Twitch for “Make-up: Set in Stone”, a make-up and special effects tutorial uplifting the legacy of Legendary Women worldwide!
The fun doesn’t stop there! On March 8 @ 2pm PT, celebrate International Women’s Day by tuning in to /TwitchRivals for Party Animals chaos with our very own Twitch Women’s Guild, presented by Honda.

Am I eligible to express interest in joining a Twitch Unity Guild?
Candidates for the Twitch Unity Guilds must self-identify as a woman/non-binary, Black, of Latin American heritage or LGBTQIA+ (as stated in the Streamer Community Survey) and must speak one of the following languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
Candidates must also be:
- Twitch Partners or Affiliates
- At least 18 years of age in the rest of the world, regardless of location.
When will I find out if I’ve been accepted into one or many of the Twitch Unity Guilds?
This expression of interest does not guarantee your entry into a Guild(s), but will count as an official application in the event that we are able to invite you to join one or more of the Guilds in future.
How do I participate in Together for Legendary Women celebrations in the future?
Please complete the Streamer Community Survey to be eligible for selection in similar campaigns in future. Please ensure you have turned on Marketing notifications in your Twitch settings to avoid missing your invite.
