Twitch Stands Ready to Support TikTok Creators
The TikTok ban may go into effect. Unfortunately, for the hundreds of millions of creators and viewers who use and love the service, including Twitch streamers, that means that this state of uncertainty will continue. Many of our streamers have used TikTok to reach new audiences and to discover the magic of live streaming–creating and watching–for the first time. While we don’t yet know what the outcome will be, for any live streamers considering a new home or who want to explore streaming on Twitch, we want to help make the transition as easy as possible. We’re not going anywhere.
As a first step, you can create an account at Twitch.tv. If you’d like to connect with our teams directly and learn more about our service, please use this form to tell us a bit about yourself, and we will get in touch. Our team is standing by to help you get started. If you work with an agency, please speak to your contact there about trying Twitch.
To help navigate your Twitch journey, we encourage you to check out our education hub, Creator Camp, where you can learn more about how to get started, find software and hardware recommendations, as well as simple guides on emotes and moderators. We’ll also be going live on Tuesday, January 21st at 12pm PT on Twitch.tv/twitch to go over some basics to help any new creators on their journey.
