How to Unlock the Discord Nitro Offer

Here’s what you need to do to unlock the Discord Nitro offer. It’s easy, we promise.

1. Between October 17th at 12pm PT and October 31st at 12pm PT, purchase a sub (either a new recurring sub or a gift sub) on any monetizing streamer’s channel.
2. After your purchase, a code is sent to your Twitch notifications inbox and will be available on the Drops & Rewards Inventory page.
3. For redemption on the Discord desktop and web apps go to the Gift Inventory page in User Settings. To get to the Gift Inventory on Discord, go to User Settings > Billing Settings > Gift Inventory. Valid customer payment information and Discord account is required to redeem the Promotional Code. Redemption codes cannot be redeemed on the Discord mobile app at this time.

Who is eligible?

The Discord Nitro code is redeemable for new and qualified returning Discord Nitro users, wherever it’s available. Qualified returning users include those who have not had Discord Nitro, including any previous trial(s), in the past 12 months from redemption date. Discord “Nitro for Everyone” trialists are eligible if they haven’t had any other Discord Nitro subscriptions or offers in the past 12 months. Current Nitro Basic subscribers are also eligible if they have never had Nitro.

Which subs qualify for this offer?

Eligible Twitch subs include new monthly subs (any tier), multi-month subs (3-month, 6-month), and gift subs (any tier for any number of months). Prime subs and existing recurring subs are not eligible.

Do I need to have a Discord account to participate?

Yes, you’ll need a Discord account to redeem your Nitro subscription. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up for free on the Discord website.

Can I get Nitro if I renew an existing Twitch subscription?

No, this promotion is only valid for new recurring subscriptions or gift subs purchased during the promotional period.

Can I get multiple Nitro subscriptions if I buy multiple subs?

No, each user can only receive one Nitro subscription through this promotion, regardless of how many Twitch subs they purchase.

What happens after my three months of Nitro ends?

After your promotional period ends, your Nitro subscription will automatically renew at the standard monthly price unless you cancel it. You can manage your subscription in your Discord user settings.
