Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on Twitch
Hispanic Heritage Month is here! From Sept. 15 - Oct. 15, we’re celebrating all the incredible Hispanic and Latino streamers and their communities on Twitch.
These creators are gamers and cosplayers, skaters and cooks, radio hosts and rappers. They go live from all around the world, with different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. So to help everyone tell their story, their way, we’re starting from somos — or in English, “we are.” If you want to know what comes next, well, you’ll just have to tune in and join us.

Gamechangers — “Family Quest”
Time: Thursday, Sept. 23 at 5PM PST
Where: /twitchgaming
Family Quest is a game show which pits two households against one another in a variety of competitions. Teams of two (one creator and one family member) will compete head to head in five rounds of challenges. Our hosts will act as judges, determining whether a team gains points or not. Chat gets in on the action by throwing curve balls as teams battle it out. The family with the most wins comes out victorious.

Get ready for a celebration of Latinx excellence in gaming. Jam City will showcase experts from their Latin American studios, and Dignitas will host a charity stream for the new GGP Scholarship with Argentinian Creator DrekzeNN.

LatinxInGames is a nonprofit organization dedicated to elevating Hispanic voices to the forefront of the gaming industry through hiring Hispanic talent, networking opportunities, and providing platforms for Hispanic content creators. During National Hispanic Heritage Month, LatinxInGames is hosting a virtual summit, Unidos Online, on their channel. Unidos Online is a non-stop, three-day stream summit and celebration. The event will spotlight Latinx creatives, developers, and allies in a series of segments ranging from panels, game tournaments, cook-offs, and more.

FUNDRAISE FOR CHARITY
This community has shown time and time again its ability to come together in the name of good. This month, help elevate Hispanic voices in the gaming industry by fundraising through Tiltify for Latinx In Gaming, or check out the other amazing organizations on Tiltify and StreamLabs Charity.

HOST AND COLLABORATE
For creators, collaborating with other streamers is a great way to grow your channels and have fun in the process. If you haven’t already, take time to expand your network to include Hispanic and Latino creators. We’ve listed some who will be featured this month, but there are many more doing amazing stuff all across Twitch.
CREATOR INPUT AND SAFETY
Leading up to Hispanic Heritage Month, we’ve worked closely with creators every step of the way. Their stories, passion, and guidance were integral to the campaign and the events you’ll see here and all month long.
We also want our creators to have the best experience possible, so we’re working closely with everyone involved in the campaign to help keep them safe by providing safety protocols, escalation processes, and offering further education and Q&A sessions for all participants.
REPORT. DON’T JUST BAN
Racism, hateful conduct, and harassment have no place on Twitch, social media, or anywhere else. Please report it to us so that we can continue to take action against those who violate our Community Guidelines and seek to harm our community and creators. If you only ban, without reporting, Twitch doesn’t know what happened and may not be able to take any action.
