Twitch Stream Aid: Go live to save lives on 3/28

This Saturday, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re bringing our community and a whole lot of other folks together to do what we do best, #stayhome, play games, and support a good cause. Twitch Stream Aid – a 12-hour charity stream benefitting the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO powered by the United Nations Foundation – will feature some of the biggest names in gaming, music, and sports with special guests and lots of feel good moments for the greater good.

Twitch Stream Aid kicks off this Saturday, March 28 at 9:00 AM PST on twitch.tv/twitch. Throughout the day, we’ll host competitions featuring Fortnite and UNO, with talent such as Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers, Lost Kings, Joe Jonas, and more who will be playing games throughout the show as part of our Twitch Rivals program. You’ll also see incredible musical performances from Ellie Goulding, Diplo, Cole Swindell, LAUV, Charlie Puth, Krewella, Die Antwoord, Jordin Sparks and more during breaks in the action. Plus, some of your favorite athletes will stop by, including Lando Norris, Aly Raisman, Greg Norman, and Richard Sherman with Darius Slay live on Twitch. Last (but certainly not least!), we’ll feature YOU! Throughout our show, we’ll be combing Twitch to feature streamers who are live on Saturday and pull them into our broadcast. For a chance to be featured during Twitch Stream Aid, go live on March 28 and tag your stream with the “TwitchStreamAid” tag so we can find you.

Want to get involved? Viewers, while you tune into Twitch Stream Aid, if you feel inclined, you’ll be able to donate to the cause throughout the show. Streamers, You can rally your community to support the cause by creating a “Supporting campaign” on our Donation page to drive donations during your stream. Many talented and generous individuals have already donated their time and money to this cause, and Twitch is grateful for all of their support. Twitch Stream Aid will also be available to co-stream on your channel.

All proceeds and donations made during Twitch Stream Aid will be donated to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO powered by the United Nations Foundation, which supports the incredible work of the World Health Organization. And Saturday is just the start. This event will kick off a week’s worth of fundraising opportunities on Twitch where the community can continue to host their own streams and raise money for this cause.

And a special thanks to all the talent and agencies who are generously donating their time, our partner Amazon Music for their support, and special thanks to our sponsors Verizon, P&G, and Gillette for their generous donations.
