TwitchCon update: Autotune edition

Aug 17 2016 - By Evan Freitas

As the days tick down until TwitchCon (only 44 left!) we’re excited to bring you even more about what is gearing up to be the Best. Weekend. Ever. Read on for all the good stuff.

Exhibitors

First, let’s talk games. When you’re not checking out the many panels and zones at the show, the TwitchCon expo hall is where you’ll be playing the latest and soon to be released games, and trying the newest gear and peripherals. And this year, the lineup is stacked. Here are a few highlights from our first set of confirmed attendees, with more to be announced soon:

Xbox

Electronic Arts

Daybreak Games

Amazon Game Studios

Naughty Dog

Devolver Digital

Starbreeze Studios

tinyBuild Games

Trion Worlds

Super Evil Megacorp

Check out a full list of the over 50 exhibitors here.

T-Pain and HP OMEN Join The Party

Please read the following in autotune. T-Pain will be performing live at TwitchCon: The Party! The two-time Grammy winner (and Twitch streamer) is joining Darude and our still-to-be-announced-you-won’t-believe-it headliner at Petco Park.

The party kicks off with the HP “Heroes of the Storm” OMEN Challenge, where four teams of five gamers will compete playing Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm from within an enclosed gaming chamber for a chance to win the U.S. HP OMEN Challenge Championship. The enclosure will test gamers physical agility and skills by introducing…interesting elements into each chamber such as wind blasts, cold environments, and more. These elements will be revealed to both the live and online Twitch audience via spectacular animations emanating from a giant LED tower. If all that sounds crazy, it’s because it will be.

Still don’t have a party ticket? Click here to get all the details and order yours today! Remember, the party is exclusively for TwitchCon attendees ages 18 and up.

Sponsors Announced

We are also proud to announce TwitchCon’s 2016’s presenting sponsors including: Xbox, truth, and Amazon Game Studios, and experience sponsors: Streamlabs — formerly Twitch Alerts, Tiltify, Turtle Beach, Bud Light, NoCopyrightSounds, Old Spice, Taco Bell and HP OMEN.

Stay tuned for more TwitchCon updates as we get closer to the show!
