Twitch Hosts Girls Who Code

Today Twitch welcomed 20 very impressive high-school ladies who are participating in Girls Who Code’s summer program.

Girls Who Code is a national non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. Our cousins at Amazon’s Lab 126 are hosting this cohort for the summer, and brought them by to visit. During the luncheon, they heard about the career journeys of female engineers, technical program managers, and product managers here at Twitch.

They asked thoughtful questions and raved about our environment and culture. As a thank you gift, we sent them off with some great Twitch swag.

We were thrilled to have them and hope to see them back as interns some day!
