New Release Tuesday: Remember the Good Times Edition

Just how difficult is it to make a satisfying game based on the infamous Aliens franchise? In 1994, Capcom achieved this seemingly impossible feat by making one of the most acclaimed beat-em-ups of all-time in Alien vs. Predator. That very same year, Rebellion would release an Alien vs. Predator title of their own, only for the Atari Jaguar. It would become one of the only highlights of Jaguar’s short life span.

New Releases for Tuesday, February 12–19

Aliens: Colonial Marines (PC/Xbox/PS3) — Gearbox’s troubled Aliens title finally sees the light of day.

Impire (PC) — Paradox Interactive’s monster-management sim draws inspiration from the Bullfrog classic, Dungeon Keeper.

Ys I & II Chronicles+ (PC) — Falcom’s legendary RPG series returns to its roots with yet another remastering of its original NEC origins.
