Twitch Wins IAB MIXX Gold Award for “The Chappie Challenge”

In partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twitch is taking home a Gold at the IABB Mixx Awards, held in New York City as part of Ad Week 2015. The IABB Mixx Awards honors groundbreaking creativity and technical innovation in Digital Marketing. This Gold award under the Games category is recognition for the unique campaign that the Twitch Media Group executed last March and also saw the inauguration of 2Ks game Evolve in its first gaming tournament.

This is the first IABB Mixx award for the Twitch Media Group since its start 3 years ago. Twitch and other winners were honored at a ceremony in New York City on Wednesday, September 28, 2015. Other winners from other categories include The ALS Association’s “Ice Bucket Challenge”, Nike’s “RE2PECT”, Intel Corp’s “Get in the Mix with Ne-Yo”, and Google’s “Google Play Interstellar.”
