With the impending release of the Xbox One here in the States, the next generation of gaming will be fully ushered in and you may still be wondering which Twitch experience you’ll be receiving on which console. To that end, our designers have whipped up a handy infographic that lays out the streaming capabilities of the PlayStation 4, and the advanced viewing app found on the Xbox One. While all of this can change and expand in the coming months and years, for now, this is the future we’re living in.
We’re currently exiting the PlayStation 4 launch hype delirium and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. While some nay-sayers were anticipating our global infrastructure to be brought to its knees, we’re pleased to report that this post is not coming at you from the Twitch rapture thanks to the hard work and due diligence of our awesome engineering staff. Here’s a recap of everything you may have missed from the past week of PlayStation-induced insanity.

Today we’re proud to announce that Twitch will indeed be available on the PlayStation 4. This Fall, PS4 owners worldwide will be able to broadcast their gameplay direct to their Twitch channels by simply pressing the new “Share” button found on the DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller.
